Abstract (EN)

Objective: This study was conducted to develop nanowire-based nanobiosensors for the determination of cancer biomarkers mucin 1 (MUC1) and neuron-specific enolase (NSE). Material and Methods: Pt/Au/PPy-COOH and Ni/PANI/Au nanowires were synthesized, characterized, and used to modify SPE electrodes to determine MUC1 and NSE, respectively. The analytical performance of both prepared nanobiosensors was investigated, and their usability in commercial human serum samples was demonstrated. Results: The linear working range for the nanobiosensor prepared to determine MUC1 was 20-3000 fg/mL, the LOD value was 0.244 fg/mL, and the LOQ value was 0.815 fg/mL. The nanobiosensor prepared to determine NSE had a linear operating range of 20-2500 fg/mL and presented the low LOD (0.461 fg/mL) and the low LOQ (1.538 fg/mL) values. The prepared nanobiosensors were successfully used for the determination of MUC1 and NSE. Conclusion: Nanobiosensors prepared with Pt/Au/PPy-COOH and Ni/PANI/Au nanowires were found to be successful results in the determination of MUC1 and NSE.
