Examination of physical education teachers' levels of burnout in terms of specific variables

The aim of this study is to put forward Physical Education Teachers' level of Burnout.In this research, Physical Education Teachers' occupational burnout and job satisfaction are examined in terms of "school type, gender, age, years of working experience, working place, lesson hours and marital status"The study universe of this research consists of physical education teachers working in state and private schools in İstanbul centre MEB (The Ministry of National Education) Kadıköy and Ataşehir region. The samples are from 250 P.E teachers. The findings about the levels of burnout is obtained through survey. Personal information forms and Maslach Burnout Scale are used as the measurement tool. Survey findings, t-test, are evaluated on the basis of one way variance (ANOVA) analysis and in order to find out the source of the difference TUKEY-HSD test is applied.In data evaluation, SPSS 20.0 statistical program is used.As a result; physical education teacher of the age variable is the size of the bottom of your success, with years of service with a variable personal success with the lower size, the size of the task variable between lower emotional exhaustion.Still, Burnout scale when looking at the relationship between each other, the lower dimensions of emotional exhaustion among personal success with a statistically significant, Keywords: Physical Education and Sports Teacher, Burnout
