Abstract (EN)

Existential anxieties are among the anxieties affected by individuals' loneliness. Individuals who feel lonely in life think more about existential concepts such as the meaning of life and death. This situation causes individuals to have a hard time in their social lives as well as to lose their mental and physiological health. The emerging adulthood period is considered as the period when individuals feel loneliness the most. During this process, where individuals leave adolescence and move towards adulthood, they start a new life away from their families. Since they do not feel ready to establish a new family of their own, they can sometimes be alone. For this reason, it is observed that they are more concerned with existential anxieties than individuals in other periods. The aim of this study is to evaluate the effects of romantic relationships on overcoming existential anxieties of individuals in the emerging adulthood period.
