Beliren yetişkinlikte ilişki doyumunun açıklanmasında öz denetim ile kişilerarası ilişki tarzının yordayıcı rolü

The aim of the study is to examine how the romantic relationship satisfaction of emerging adults is predicted by their self-control levels and interpersonal relationship styles. In addition, the relationship between relationship satisfaction, self-control levels and interpersonal relationship styles of the emerging adults according to demographic variables like gender, marital status, relationship duration, educational status, socioeconomic status was examined. The participants of the study consisted of 293 individuals between the ages of 18-30. The "Demographic Information Form" formed by the researcher to determine the demographic characteristics of the participants in the study, the "Romantic Relationship Satisfaction Scale" to measure the relationship satisfaction levels of the participants, the "Self-Control Scale" to measure the self-control behaviors and behavior patterns of individuals, "Interpersonal Style Scale" was applied to determine the negative communication styles they use in relationships. The data were analyzed using the SPSS (Statistical Package for Social Sciences) 23 package program. Multiple regression analysis was used to analyze the main variables of the study. ANOVA, T-test and Correlation analysis were also used in the study. As a result of the study, it was revealed that romantic relationship satisfaction is predicted by self-control and interpersonal style. According to these results, a positive and significant relationship was found between the "Reformative" and "Experiential" sub-dimensions of the Self-Control Scale and relationship satisfaction. A negative significant relationship was found between the "Avoidant Style" sub-dimension of the Interpersonal Style Scale and relationship satisfaction. In addition, significant relationships were found between romantic relationship satisfaction and marital status, relationship duration, and income level.
