Between schizoid and depressive positions

Melanie Klein stepped into the world of psychoanalysis inspired by the works of Sigmund Freud. During the process, Freud expanded some of his concepts, completed the missing ones, added different dimensions and created his own theory. She has undertaken this work in order to clarify the inner world of the individual by observing and analyzing the human child from the beginning of his life and to clarify how the person is formed. First, she tried to reach the inner objects through understanding and explanation. She presented the mechanisms, and defence mechanisms of the life and death instincts, unconscious fantasy, paranoid-schizoid position, depressive position and position theory with its concepts in relation to internal objects. As a result of a series of concepts and mechanisms that she created from the inner objects, she reached the paranoid-schizoid and depressive position theory. She has been mentioned in every description of the fantasy mechanism which forms the basis of his theory. She emphasized that the fantasy mechanism came from birth, and it was constantly produced in people mind. In addition, she separated the fantasy mechanism as consciously and unconsciously. She gave more weight to the unconscious direction. In order to understand the inner world, the fantasies have to be understood. Klein's "concept of position" is one of the most important discovery of her time. She portrayed the dynamic nature of man which away from passivity by her position theory. She divided the paranoid-schizoid and depressive positions into two parts. And she experienced that these positions appeared in the first months of human life. She stated that every individual passed through these positions but if their parents (especially their mother) provide the necessary care, the positions of the persons tend to be positive structure. Moreover, she stated that when establishing relations with the outside world, locations are references. The presence of partial activities that are far from holistic indicates that the narcissistic and omnipotence is dominant. The presence of guilt and jealousy indicates that the individual is in a paranoid-schizoid position. When the characteristics of the PS location are reflected in the religious life, there is a religiosity that is experienced at the primitive level. Another location is the depressed location. The individual becomes depressed by integrity of fragmented object, if not the ego but the object become the front panel, the activity of love and gratitude, resulting of the awareness of the guilt which the repair activities starts. When D-position is reflected in religious life, a religiosity happening at the level of mature is arising. In addition, these two positions are constantly fluctuating. The individual fluctuates from the D position to the PS position as well as from the PS position to the D position. According to Klein's data, a static religious experience is not mentioned.
