The research of the usage of information and communication technologies via technology acceptance model and an application on elementary school teachers

After the industrial revolution, what was the importance of natural resources, knowledge is the same thing for the technological innovations in our time. Since the second half of the 20th century, the developments on knowledge and communication have established lots of infrastructure of many of the tools that we use today. Tools such as cellular communication, satellite communication, personal computers, portable computers and high speed internet are the equipments of our ordinary lives.Ongoing technological developments make us doing essential researches that aim to explain and predict the technological acceptance and use on enterprise employees who work at enterprises that accept technological developments are a profit or social responsibility. Education sector is also receiving its share of this research and it investigates the adoption of the technology acceptance for teachers who train individuals with various levels of information and communication.In this study, a study about information and communication technology tools was conducted including a questionnaire to 508 teachers that are compared to many other teachers on the use of technology is not obligatory for them and educate students till primary school 5th grade.In this research, Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) has been used and the variables that affect the adoption of technology have been analyzed. The actual usage have revealed by perceived ease of use, perceived usefulness, attitude and behavioral intentions.Keywords: Technology adoption, Technology Acceptance Model, Information and Communication Technology
