Abstract (EN)
In this study, the purpose was to investigate the diagnostic role of Interleukin 1 alpha in diabetic neuropathy. Samples were collected from 40 patients with diabetic neuropathy, 40 patients with diabetes, and 40 controls. The following assays were performed on all groups: Interleukin 1, FBG, HbA1C, CRP, and ESR. It was noted in the study data a significant increase in all the parameters studied in the diabetic neuropathy group compared to the other groups, and there was also an increase in these parameters in the diabetes group compared to the control. It was known that there was a correlation between Interleukin 1 and other parameters, and the discriminatory benefit of each one was confirmed.
