Birgivî Mehmed Efendi and analysis of his "İmtihanu'l-Ezkiya"

It is about the life of Iskender el-Birgivî and the book Imtihanu'l-Ezkiya, which he wrote as an annotation to Lübbü'l-Elbâb fî İlm'l-i'rab, which is the summary of the famous Arabic grammar book Rhyme. Birgivî Mehmed Efendi was born in Balıkesir on March 27, 1523, and is a favorite Turkish scholar who grew up in the most developed era of the Ottoman Empire. He wrote many works consisting of copyright and commentary in the fields of Fiqh, Sufism, Ethics, Arabic Language, in Turkish and Arabic. The scholarly personality of Birgivî, who made a name for himself with his works in many branches that he brought to the world of science, especially with his works on nahw, namely Izhâru'l-esrâr, Avâmil and İmtihanu'l-Ezkiya, has been accepted by scholars. Among these works, the book Imtihanu'l-Ezkiya is extremely important in terms of its content. This important book, which is the commentary of the concise book of Ibn al-Hâcib's famous Rhyme book, which was taught in almost every madrasa during the Ottoman period and today, is an important work that should be taken into account in terms of grammar.
