Abstract (EN)

It was proclaimed that 1,2,4-triazole and its derivatives show numerous pharmacological activities. Mannich bases have strong biological activities such as antibacterial, antifungal, antioxidant, antitumor features. In this study, effects of some Mannich bases which contain bis-1,2,4 – triazole on the level of malondialdehyde (MDA) and antioxidant vitamins (A,E,C) of the serum, liver and kidney tissue of rats were investigated. Level of malondialdehyde (MDA) and vitamins (A,E,C) were determined by HPLC. Furthermore in this study aims to examine the antioxidant effects of some Mannich bases containing bis-1, 2, 4 triazole. The antioxidant activities of the derivatives were measured using different methods in this study, including reducing power capacity, metal chelating activity, superoxide anion radicals scavenging activity, H2O2 scavenging activity and hydroxyl radical scavenging. In addition, antitumor effects of derivatives were investigated in MCF-7 human breast cancer cell line. As a result, most of the compounds showed efficient antioxidant and antitumour activity when compared to ascorbic acid, BHT and α-tocopherol as standard antioxidants. In addition, cell viability experiments show that compounds have effective in vitro antitumor activity.
