Abstract (EN)
The silk protein obtained from Bombyx mori Linn cocoons consists of fibroin and sericin proteins. Fibroin is used in biomedical applications due to its mechanical properties and controllable biodegradability properties, while sericin is used as a biocompatible substance in the cosmetics and food industry, especially in the cosmetics and food industry, and in pharmaceutical systems due to its anticoagulant and anticancer properties. In addition to these, organic-inorganic hybrid nanoflowers from the newly developed flower-like hybrid nanoparticle class, which are biotechnological synthesis products, have attracted attention in recent years due to their simple synthesis, high efficiency, enzyme stabilization and enzyme activity-enhancing abilities. In this thesis, we aimed to compare the in vitro analyzes of antioxidant, hyaluronidase, tyrosinase enzyme inhibition and sunscreen activities by synthesizing commercially available proteins and hybrid nanoflowers of these proteins isolated from silk cocoons grown in Turkey. Simultaneously, the activities of the protein and hybrid nanoflowers that we isolated with the silk proteins obtained from abroad were also compared. This study is a unique thesis in terms of synthesizing zinc hybrid nanoflowers from silk proteins for the first time.
