Abstract (EN)

This research was carried out on Bucak district of Burdur during the vegetation period of 2019-2020 in order to examine some yield and quality elements of 9 different annual ryegrass varieties. The experiment was set up in 3 repetitions according to the random blocks trial pattern. As the material in the research; annual ryegrass varieties named Medoacus, Reis, Rambo, Trinova, Alberto, Baqueno, Devis, Efe-82 and Big boss were used. In the study; main stem length, main stem thickness, forage yield, hay yield, crude protein ratio, crude protein yield, ADF ratio and NDF ratio were investigated. The differences between main stem thickness, green grass yield, crude protein ratio, ADF and NDF ratios of the examined Italian grass varieties were statistically significant at 1% level, while the differences between hay yield and crude protein yield were statistically significant at the level of 5%. According to annual ryegrass varieties, main stem length 100.00-107.33 cm, main stem thickness 2.53-3.95 mm, forage yield 3108-5550 kg / da, hay yield 1147.25-1634.43 kg/da, crude protein ratio 11.23-15.47%, crude protein yield varied between 152.93-219.77 kg/da, ADF ratio 33.51-36.61% and NDF ratio 58.31-62.22%. The highest green grass yield, hay yield and crude protein ratio were obtained from Sorge, Rambo, Trinova varieties. Notion and Efe 82 varieties was observed to have the lowest values in terms of ADF and NDF values. As a result, it can be said that Italian grass varieties do not differ much from each other in terms of some yield and quality elements on Bucak ecological conditions, but better results are obtained from Rambo and Notion varieties in terms of yield and digestibility.
