Abstract (EN)

In this study, it has been tried to examine the problems related to fate, which are in the Kitâbü'l-qadar section of Bukhari's Sahih, which started before Bukhari and left its mark on the century he lived in, and to determine the author's approach to this issue from his own perspective. In the introduction, Bukhari's life, his prominent works, some theological issues that emerged during his period and his attitude towards them are mentioned in general terms. In the first chapter, in order to better understand the Kitâbü'l-qadar section in Bukhari's Sahih, the views of the people of the book and theological schools on the subject of fate before and after Islam were tried to be analyzed, but the views of the religious sects whose views were rejected were especially the Mu'tazila sect in general. Their historical background and views are mentioned more intensively. In the second chapter, the method of examining the theological issues that Bukhari tried to prove in the chapter headings of the relevant chapter was tried to be determined. Then, issues such as will, power and discretion, which were identified in the chapter headings and the narrated hadiths and verses, were touched upon. While dealing with these issues, firstly the views of Jahmiyya, Mu'tazila and Ahl al-Sunnah theologians will be conveyed, and then an effort has been made to reveal Bukhari's approach to these issues, based on the chapter headings and the explanations of the commentators. Kitâbü'l-kader; Sahih'in son bölümlerindendir.
