Abstract (EN)

Nowadays, the rapidly changing conditions of business life leads to changes in the definitions and terms of the facilities offered by the jobs which young people would work after they graduated. Newcomers to the labor force who do not know actual information about jobs and having perceptions on wrong basis, probably making mistakes when choosing careers for themselves and this unconscious selection leads person to work in a job which is far away from personal expectations. To prevent this matter, jobs and their features must be well known previously. Criteria and their weightiness which are used in job selection process, are introduced by the studies. Those studies researching and getting results with Multi Criteria Decision Making Methods which are eligible for the nature of the problem. Multi Criteria Decision Making Analysis basically are complex mathematical systems which are developed for multiple criteria problems. The job selection problem of Dokuz Eylül University Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences Department of Econometrics students is solved by Analytic Hierarchy Process which is useful and suitable for the problem, this method is dependent on dual comparisons of factor, that can have both verbal and numerical values. The Problem is solved again with Fuzzy Anaytic Hierarchy Process which is a hibrid method using Fuzzy Logic. The motivation for using another method is the biggest criticism on Multi Criteria Decision Making Analysis that their judgements on criteria and alternatives are subjective and undetermined. Then these two methods are compared. Fuzzy Multi Criteria Decision Making is an important mathematical analysis process commonly used today. It is a tool for modelling uncertainity and complexity of Multi Criteria Decision Making problems which those problems mostly have naturally. In this study the results of Fuzzy Analytic Hierarchy Process which has its own systematic and parts, are examined and interpreted in each step. Keywords: Fuzzy Multi Criteria Decision Making, Analytic Hierarchy Process, Fuzzy Analytic Hierarchy Process
