Bursa dictionary of dialect (Essay)

In this study, which is prepared as Master Thesis, it is aimed to expose the vocabulary of Bursa Region. The study consists of Introduction, Dictionary, Conclusion and Bibliography sections. In the introduction of the study, the necessary explanations have been made about the concepts of Dialect, Dictionary of Dialect and Dialect lexicography and the work done on these concepts in Turkey have been adverted. In the Dictionary section,a dictionary, under the rules of lexicology by aligning words that are present in the dialects of Bursa Region has been created. In the conclusion section, the results of the study are listed as items. Finally, in the bibliography section have been given place to references that are consulted while this study are been creating. This study is not a compilation study. The study consists of the words obtained from the study of the dialect studies on the Bursa region, folk literature studies or historical studies. There are no separate compilation activity for this study. This study was prepared to collect under one roof the words that take part in different sources dispersedly. Although there were serious problems such as lack of resources and inability to access the resources during the preparation of the study, eventually this study was produced.
