Pressure groups at the budget proccess

Ill ABSTRACT In modern societies, it is the main purpose for the individual to take part in the public decisions countries which are ruled by democracy. The participation of individuals in the public decisions and its effects are different in the countries depending on economic and social structures. The purpose of this research is to study the effects of the pressure groups as a democratic medium, in budget proceduse. The study consist of three chapters. In the first chapter, the terms political participting and the pressure group have been explaind. In the second chapter, the political participating and the pressure groups in Turkey have been studied. In the third chapter, current budget system in Turkey and the effect of the pressure groups in this process have been considered.
