Abstract (EN)

In this thesis, 21st century art objects are criticized ontologically, epistemologically and ethically around the concepts of the philosophy of immanence. This study, which criticizes the anthropocentrism created by humanism, opens the art works that defend the immanence of existence against transcendence to discussion with the concepts of thinkers ranging from Martin Heidegger to Jacques Derrida, from Donna Haraway to Bruno Latour. Philosophical notions such as Haraway's companion species, becoming-with, cyborg; Latour's network-actor theory and his narratives on the Anthropocene; the becoming of Deleuze and Guattari and Heidegger's ontology is discussed. The art works of Seol Lee, Boris Labbé, Anicka Yi, Petrit Halilaj, Pierre Huyghe and Anthea Hamilton, which challenged the ongoing anthropocentric perspective of the traditional philosophy, focusing on living things, especially human and animal, are examined.
