Turkish Woman's İmage's Transformation to Objective Expression in Contemporary Turkish Painting What are the reflections of the images developed in the definition and concept of women, which have an important place on the basis of belief and social life of Anatolian people, to contemporary Turkish painting art and aesthetics? And how has it become objective expression? In this context, answers of various questions were sought. In this research, the image of Turkish woman in contemporary Turkish painting and folkloric elements used with this image were determined. Turgut Zaim determined his style based on local subjects, folk art and miniature and adhered to this narrative. He described the Anatolian people, Yoruks and Afshars in his paintings and handled elements such as carpet-rug and folkloric clothes used by the villagers and painted the female image with folkloric clothes. Bedri Rahmi Eyüboğlu made up the essence of his art with the exuberant wealth of folk art and contemporary art. In this context, he used embroidery and motifs of objects such as rugs, saddlebags, socks, writing to make contact with the female image. Nuri İyem explained the realities of the Turkish people in the "Human Faces from Anatolia" artproject with the expressions on the faces. He created the realities of the female image in this context in his portraits. Neşet Günal depicted the phenomena of Anatolian people such as land, drama, intimidation and desperation in a tragic dramatic way in the typology of the earth man. The artist who describes villagers conveyed the female figures with their bodies, clothes and emotions to give information about their lives. Nedim Günsur painted with the understanding of local art. His paintings reflect society, the environment and the values of the people. In her paintings, the image of women is a part of society. In this context, painter: Turgut Zaim, Bedri Rahmi Eyüboğlu, Nuri İyem, Neşet Günal and Nedim Günsur works and the reflections of images connected to the concept of women their effects on the paintings they have made are examined using qualitative methods. In this context, in order to obtain qualitative data, document analysis method was applied during the research process. Keywords: Contemporary Turkish Painting, Turkish Woman Image, Folkloric Element
