Use of natural light in roof spaces

The use of roof spaces has been gaining importance with each passing day. When the roof spaces are planned appropriately, they provide extra living spaces to the structure. Their contribution to the energy efficiency is being more, when they are planned as a living space. The roofs, which are among the pieces completing the structure, come to the fore with their aesthetic and functional features in this respect. Within this study, lightening roof spaces by using natural light and schematic differences used in lightening were discussed, and lightening analysis was made in the computer environment. Moreover, information about daylight measurements and units are given in this thesis.
