A case study on the awareness of students in terms of preservation and presentation of cultural heritage values of çavdarhisar; Case of kutahya Cavdarhisar Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School

This study focuses on the students of the agriculture department studying at Çavdarhisar Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School. The students' awareness of the general concept of cultural heritage, cultural heritage values in Çavdarhisar and the presentation of these cultural values were examined. Along with this examination, awareness was tried to be increased and developed through presentation and activity based application studies. The method of the study is the case study model, which is a qualitative research method. As a data collection tool, the data collection method was used through focus group interviews and documents (evaluation forms, poster and slogan work). This datas were analyzed using the content analysis method. In the focus group interviews, it was observed that the students' awareness of cultural heritage concepts and cultural heritage values in Çavdarhisar was insufficient, but their awareness of the presentation of cultural values was sufficient. It is aimed to develop students' awareness of cultural heritage values and the presentation of these values through presentation and activity-based practice studies conducted after focus group interviews. In order to determine the development of awareness, evaluation forms, poster and slogan studies were analyzed. The thesis consists of 5 chapters. In the first chapter, the purpose, scope and limitations of the thesis were mentioned. In the second chapter, the conceptual framework such as cultural heritage, education, awareness and presentation of cultural heritage and values found in Çavdarhisar were mentioned. In the third chapter, the data collection process used in the study and the analysis methods of these data were mentioned. In the fourth part, the obtained data were analyzed. In the fifth chapter, which is the last chapter of the thesis, discussions, results and suggestions were stated in line with the findings
