Abstract (EN)

The purpose of this study is to highlight the importance of "CE marking" and to show the level and level of application of CE marking system in Turkey, which shows that products comply with European Union health, safety and environmental protection directives. The aim of the study is to determine the level of knowledge and sensitivity in CE in terms of CE marking. As a result of the literature survey, the survey did not find a measure that met the exact purpose. After receiving expert opinions, the necessary scope validity analyzes were made and 20 items were combined into one form and applied to 83 employees of 13 importer firms operating in Istanbul. A fivepoint Likert-type scale consisting of 20 items with 4 factors (1-CE Marking Solutions, 2-Applied Shape, 3-Sensitivity Level, 4-Community Consciousness and Working Requirement) explaining 63,621% of the total variance as a result of the basic components and factor analyzes made. Attitude scale named as "CE Mark Sensitivity and Level of Information Measurement" in accordance with the model. In reliability analysis, for overall scale Cronbach αT= ,876 is used. As a result of total article and remaining article analysis, it is observed that article correlations are meaningful and distinctive. The implementation of the scale after the validity and reliability studies was carried out between March 2017 and May 2017 with the participation of 385 employees of 55 importer firms in Istanbul province. The scores obtained from the sample group and the demographic variables were compared. It was determined that there was a significant relationship between the sensitivity of CE markers and knowledge levels of the importer company employees.
