Abstract (EN)

China has become a decisive player in the global economy through its "Reform and Opening-Up" policy implemented in 1978. Xi Jinping, the leader of China, announced the Belt and Road Initiative in 2013, which aims to create a trade and infrastructure network through land and maritime routes across Afro-Eurasia, influencing a significant portion of the world's population and over a hundred countries. This initiative seeks to integrate the economies of the countries along its route with the Chinese economy. The Belt and Road Initiative also has the potential to foster collaboration in energy and technology between China and Middle Eastern countries, while creating structural transformations in the supply of raw materials, transportation, and trade relations between Turkey and China. The initiative could contribute to advancing relations between Turkey, Middle Eastern countries, and China to a more advanced level. This study will examine the strategies and projects implemented by the initiative in Turkey and the Middle East.
