Abstract (EN)

The biggest problem of our age is the scarcity of energy resources and the difficulty of access to these resources. Energy is a factor that determines the economic and political policies of countries around the world. As countries develop, their need for energy increases. There is an increase in the need for energy in developing or developed countries. In order to meet the ever-increasing energy needs and to reduce the energy cost per unit, studies on the development of renewable energy resources and increasing their efficiency have been accelerated. The decrease in the reserves of fossil-based energies and the increase in energy costs have led the prioritization of renewable energy projects. While 35% of the energy produced in our country is used for buildings, 65% of the energy we use buildings is consumed for air conditioning. Measures to be implemented in energy efficiency in building air conditioning will reduce the carbon footprint globally and energy imports nationally by preventing energy consumption. In this context, it would be the right decision to investigate heat losses and to focus on studies to reduce these losses. In this study, the effect of windows on building thermal efficiency will be examined. Numerical analysis of the heat transmission coefficients of argon, dry air filled, comfort glass and insulating glass coated, multilayer windows with different gas filling thicknesses will be presented. In addition, the temperature distribution in gas filling will be observed and the Comsol multiphysics program will be used for their design and simulation.
