Abstract (EN)

The aim of this study is to reveal the relationships between preschool teachers' multicultural competence perceptions, intercultural communication anxiety, social empathy and classroom management skills. The relational survey model was used in this study, which was designed quantitatively. The study group of the research consists of 400 preschool teachers who have teaching experience in a multicultural education environment and selected by criterion sampling from purposeful sampling methods. The scales used in the study are: Multicultural Competence Perceptions Scale (CPSAS), Social Empathy Scale (SEÖ), Classroom Management Scale for Preschool Teachers, and Intercultural Communication Anxiety Scale. According to the structural equation model established based on the data obtained from preschool teachers, it was determined that social empathy skills significantly predicted teachers' multicultural competence perception through intercultural communication anxiety.
