Abstract (EN)

In workplaces divided into three categories according to hazard classes (less dangerous, dangerous, very dangerous), if the employer in a very dangerous workplace can not provide collective protection, the employer is responsible for taking personnel measures and implementing and controlling these measures. There are some problems during the implementation and control of the law. In order to minimize the disruptions experienced in this study, an automation system has been designed and implemented for very hazardous workplaces where there are no collective protection measures. Through the Radio Frequency Identification System (RFID)installed at the entrance gate of the workplace, nonconformities that may arise from not using PPE are recorded from here. This contributes to the employer taking measures before starting work. If the PPE is not provided by the employer, provision is provided instantaneously, and if the PPE is given, if there is a deficiency due to the negligence of the worker, the situation is controlled by the employer and the necessary actions are taken. Thus, the employer; with the help of the designed electronic system, it ensures that it provides the use of PPE automatically at the entrance. Repeated results are encountered when the system is tested one hundred times in fifteen seconds at one meter intervals for five days in a very hazardous workplace. Changing angles and distances were evaluated in terms of radiation measurements. Presences of conductive barriers interferes with the measurements. It was observed that there was no margin of error in the measurements taken each time. With the turnstile and arduino system to be placed on the door, confusion between the employees is prevented. Employees who passed the system and thought that they would be seen on the employer's computer showed more conscious behaviors about PPE use. In addition, when this situation is analyzed in L matrix method which is one of the risk assessment methods, it is seen that the big risk which is present at first is reflected to our data at acceptable risk level by using "electronic system". Inside, the employer continues to check whether the employee is using PPE or not, using the old method, with the help of occupational safety professionals.
