Abstract (EN)

Research was conducted with aim to investigate the effects on the germination, yield and its components of some pre-treatments applied to black cumin seeds in Burdur ecological conditions. The experiment was set up as three replications according to Randomized Complete Blocks Design in the Çatağıl Village of the Central District of Burdur Province by using Çameli variety. The experiment, scarification, GA3, 15 days incubation at 4°C, 30 days at 4°C, 15 days at 4°C + GA3, 30 days at 4°C+GA3, soaking, soaking + GA3, and control plots were treatment to seeds with encourage germination before sowing. In the research were statistical significant different between plant height, number of side branches, number of capsules, seed yield, 1000 grain weight, essential oil content and germination rate, while statistical differences non-significant between number of main branches and fixed oil rate of black cumin. Generally, the combinations containing GA3 showed higher values in terms of the properties examined. As a result, it was concluded that soaking + GA3 can be recommended as priming treatment to seed due to higher seed yield and fixed oil rate in black cumin
