Abstract (EN)

ABSTRACT : Cosinor Analysis and Application in Health Cosinor Analysis is a basic linear regression model. Aim of this study is to introduce Cosinor Analysis and to submit samples to the health field. The data, which are measured, in a predetermined time and if it is seen that it keeps up with a determined rhythm reveals that collecting the data in a time loop will reduce the remains and will reveal the rhythm's wave shape.Data including rhythms are thought that it is possible to analyse them using Cosinor Curve. To analyse these kind of datas 𝜇(𝑡)=𝑀+𝐴.cos(𝜔.𝑡−𝜑)+𝜀 equation is used. When A > 0 there is a rhythm and this rhytm 𝑡=𝜑/𝜔 suddenly peaks up. This function repeats itself in a 2𝜋/𝜔 time in other words it completes the period. For this practise; the patients', who have Bipolar Affective Disorder, Depression, and Schizophrenia, application numbers, if they are affected by the monthly average temperature and total sunshine duration or not is examined with Cosinor Analysis and acquired Cosinor Models are interpreted. According to the Cosinor Models Bipolar Affective Disorder and Depression patients' maximum numbers of applications are in February but for the Schizophrenia it is defined in March. It has been seen that if Monthly Average Temperature and Mean Monthly Total Sunshine (hours) parameters are added the number of patient applications increased. According to the Cosinor Analysis Study it is stated that, if Monthly Average Temperature and Mean Monthly Total Sunshine (hours) raises Bipolar Affective Disorder, Depression and Schizophrenia patients' application numbers are rising. Keywords: Bipolar affective disorder, biological rhythm, cosinor analysis, depression, schizophrenia
