Abstract (EN)

The main purpose of this study is to examine the relationship between the burnout levels of health workers and their perceptions of corporate governance against the institution they work for. The sample set of the study consisted of 300 people 18 years of age and over. Demographic Information Form, Maslach Burnout Scale (MBS) and Corporate Governance Perception Scale (CPS) were used to collect data in the study. According to the data, it was found the scores of the participants in the sub-dimensions of MBS differed according to demographic variables. Correlation analysis indicated that emotional exhaustion and depersonalization, which are sub-dimensions of MBS are negatively related to external stakeholders, internal stakeholders and responsibility and union rights which are sub-dimensions of CPS. Also, in the regression analysis, it has been found that the internal stakeholders and social responsibility sub-dimension of the CPS significantly predicted the total score of the MBI. In addition, the burnout level of health care workers were examined; 24.7% of them were less burnout, 59% were moderately burnout, and 16.3% were mostly burnout.
