Abstract (EN)

In the new world order, which has become different as a result of the global epidemic, the digital age has gradually increased its popularity and has now become a part of social life in the 21st century. This process has placed social distance in daily life and societies have been removed from physical crowds. Thus, digital platforms have replaced physical perceptions and have become an integral part of individuals. All transactions have started to be carried out on digital platforms, and people have started to communicate with each other through a tool, not face-to-face. However, in this evolving order, although every field has had to differentiate, art has been a branch affected by this process. It had to keep up with the digital age, especially in festivals organized between certain dates, which were formed as a result of corporate organizations. Within the scope of this study, the reflection of the COVID-19 Pandemic on the online screening opportunities of film festivals was examined on the basis of audience with a field research. Based on the qualitative research method, descriptive analysis will be carried out and an in-depth interview will be conducted. The interview will be composed of film festival audiences in Turkey and will be analyzed by deciphering how the festival audience reacts to the changes that occur as a result of the online broadcasting of artistic activities due to the pandemic and how the difference in experience is shaped before and after the pandemic.
