Abstract (EN)
The aim of this PHD thesis is to realize the slope stability analysis in presentand final slopes for quartzite quarries in our country.For realize the stability analysis, firstly orientation and pendage of thediscontinuities and existent formations are determined in-situ. The geometry ofpresent and final slopes are determined and the unit weight, point load index,uniaxial compressive strength and cohesion and friction angles based on shearstrength test were designated. Furthermore due to use for the slope stabilitycalculations; cohesion and internal friction angles are found by doing the shearstrength tests.It was realized the slope stability analysis on present and final slopes to aid ofsoftware names that are Stab and Degrés which were developed by Ecoles des Minesde Paris in France for the slope stability situations of the quarries.
