Abstract (EN)
This study examines, "The Declaration of The First Goals" which was announced to the attention of the public at the 14th Grand Meeting of The Republican People's Party that was gathered Jan.12-15, 1959. At the first section, the state of Turkey after The Second World War and the establishment of the Democrat Party are discussed. The second section gives information about the development process of the declaration and examines the causes that shaped it. Final section compares the content of The Declaration of the First Goals and The Constitution of 1961.
