Abstract (EN)

The adverb + verb collocation has been examined in the stories of Dede Korkut Stories, which is one of the works pertaining to Old Anatolian Turkish. Collocation studies commonly have been examined in two groups as meaning-based and frequency-based.In this study, a mixed approach which embraces both has been used. The study has been ground on Muharrem Ergin's Dede Korkut Stories. After the adverbs have been found out, these adverbs collocations and associations with the verbs have been presented with examples. The main purpose of our study is to identify the collocational patterns by examining the existence and qualifiers of the verbs in Dede Korkut Stories and is to contribute to clarify the work. In the first part of the study ,which consists of three parts, the importance,the aim, and the method have been included. Old Anatolian Turkish period, Dede Korkut Stories, and the adverbs have been briefly mentioned in the study. And also, collocation notion has been tried to explain. Findings obtained have been included in the second part of the study. The analyzes of the findings obtained have been presented in conclusion. Key words: Dede Korkut Stories, collocation, adverb.
