Metaphorical elements verse pieces in the book of Dedem Korkut

The Book of Dedem Korkut, one of the most valuable works of the Old Anatolian Turkish Period, Turkish society's political, military, economic, geographical, literary, historical, cultural and it is a work that contains important information about the codes of many elements. Which social sciences regardless of its field, it is one of the precious works that can be used as a first reference book. Thanks to the devoted workers who have worked on the work to date, every new work provided resources for the next study and contributed to the formation of new studies. In our study, depending on the metaphor studies in the world and in Turkey, Dedem the verse in the Dresden, Vatican Copy of the Book of Korkut and the Turkmen Sahara Manuscript worked on the parts. Although metaphor is known as a new definition in our literature, Turkish it is known that there are examples of metaphors from the first known written works of the Turkish culture. By making use of the vocabulary of the Book of Dedem Korkut, its rich elements the meaning in the text with the determination of the metaphorical elements in the verse parts of the work containing language and stylistic richness has been tried to be revealed. Besides traditional, familiar metaphors row is impressive, with its meanings in the background, it reminds us of our language, our cultural history, our cultural, the text, which is formed with strong metaphor patterns leading to mythical value perceptions, it is intended to add a new value instead.
