Abstract (EN)

In this study, the factors for determining the tectonic effect in the fluvial development of the Delibekirli Stream Basin, which is located in the middle of the Amanos Mountains, are explained. In addition, landslide and flood risk potentials were revealed. In this context, morphometric indices were used. These morphological indices are; Basin Shape (Rf), Hypsometric Curve (Hc) and Hypsometric Integral (Hi), Gravelius Index (Kg), Valley Floor Length-Height Ratio (Vf), Stream Length-Length Gradient Index (SL), Mountain Front Sinusity (Smf) , Topographic Symmetry Factor (T), Drainage Basin Asymmetry (AF), Stream Longitudinal-Transverse Profiles and Basin Profiles. Geographic Information Systems software in data processing, analysis and display; Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) method for landslide risk modeling; Hec-RAS software was used for flood risk modeling. The basin continues its geomorphological development under the influence of tectonic movements, climate, karstification and stream erosion. It has been observed that both fall and slip type landslides occur in the study area. By using various statistical parameters and distribution functions, unit hydrograph peak flow and 2, 5, 10, 25, 50, 100, 500 and 1000 year flood recurrence rates of the basin were calculated. Relevant flow rates were modeled with the help of Hec-RAS software. In dense residential areas towards the downstream part of Kırıkhan Fan, channel cross-sections were narrowed and various interventions were made to the stream bed. In order to prevent loss of life and property, it is necessary to design a project based on at least 25 years of flood flow in studies for the river channel.
