Abstract (EN)
The purpose of the study is to investigate the similarities and differences between the convicts who are under probation system and the people who are not convicts and not under the probation system in social trust, life satisfaction and conflict resolution. The second purpose of the research is to investigate the effects of the rehabilitation program among the convicts in social trust, life satisfaction and conflict resolution. The last purpose of the research is to investigate the relationships between social trust, life satisfaction and conflict resolution. For the purpose of this research, the research sample is selected from Bolu Probation Office and from people who live in Bolu. The findings reveal that the two study groups differ from each other in conflict resolution and especially in anger management. Also after the rehabilitation program, trust to the government, trust to future, trust to other people and conflict resolution skills increased. The findings also reveal that anger management has a moderator role between the trust to the government and trust to others; to focus on the needs of the two has a moderator role between the trust to the government and trust to future; and to focus on the needs of the two has a moderator role between the trust to the government and trust to others. The research findings have been discussed in the light of the relevant literature. Key Words: Probation System, Life Satisfaction, Social Trust, Conflict, Conflict Resolution.
