Abstract (EN)

In this study, an experimental laboratory type biogas reactor was designed and manufactured in order to make biogas production under controlled conditions. Temperature, pH and mixing are controlled in this reactor. Different biomass mixtures (cattle manure, seaweed, whey) were subjected to anaerobic digestion at different digester temperatures (30 oC, 35 oC, 40 oC and 45 oC) and at different mixing ratios and the composition of the biogas obtained was determined. During digestion, all data were recorded in computer environment. The Gas Chromatography device in the Biosystem Engineering Laboratory was used to determine the gas composition. As a result of the experiments, the highest biogas production was obtained sample numbered 23 with 276,04 mL / gKM, the dry matter ratio of 12%, the mixing ratio of 30:20:50 and the digester temperature of the 45 0C.The biomethane (CH4) content of the biogas obtained as a result of the experiments varies between 51,02% and 59,66%. Despite the low biogas production, the highest biomethane (CH4) yield was found in sample number 1 with 59,66% dry matter ratio 10%, 50:30:20 mixing ratio and digester temperature 30 0C.
