Abstract (EN)

Backhoe loader or backhoe loader machinery is a work machine equipped with a bucket on the tractor body in front and a small backhoe on the back. It is used in works such as loading, transporting and digging various materials. Since backhoe loader machines have versatile working capability, the positions of the parts that make up the design and the force values that occur in each position can differ. With the help of the free body diagram, the reaction forces at joints can be calculated with respect to time for any boom and stick position. However, it takes a long time to do this for positions corresponding to each time, and the presence of these variables makes it difficult to examine the boom and stick design group in terms of stress. In this study, which was carried out with the finite element method, the critical position determination of the backhoe design of a backhoe loader machine was made with the help of dynamic analysis at full capacity load. By taking the determined critical position as a reference, the parts to be reduced in weight were determined by static analysis. A total of 32 kg lighter backhoe group was designed and static, modal, vibration and shock analyses were applied to this new design, respectively. The lightweight backhoe design with the boundary conditions created with reference to military standards of MIL-STD-810G was structurally examined in detail and it was determined that it was durable under operating conditions.
