Abstract (EN)
This research aims to fill the knowledge gap in this field by examining the role and impact of education on the identity formation processes of diaspora communities studying in secondary education institutions living in Sakarya province. In addition, it is thought that the research results will contribute to the development of educational policies and programs for diaspora communities. In this context, the research aims to make significant contributions to both academic literature and practice. This research covers various diaspora communities living in Sakarya province. The focus of the research is on the experiences of these communities in their educational processes, identity formation processes and adaptation strategies. In addition, potential problems that diaspora individuals may encounter in the future will be discussed and solutions to these problems will be offered. This thesis consists of five main chapters. In the first part, the subject, importance, purpose, scope and method of the research are discussed. In the second part, a literature review was conducted regarding diaspora identity, education and adaptation processes. In the third chapter, the methodology of the research is explained in detail. In the fourth chapter, research findings are presented and discussed. The fifth and last chapter includes the results of the research and recommendations. This structural arrangement ensures that the research is presented in a systematic and understandable manner.
