A research to determine the relationship between digital transformation and motivation: The case of Şırnak

Digital transformation, which is the final stage of information andcommunication technologies, is referred to as the adaptation of technology toproduction processes. The process of change and transformation brought aboutby digitalisation is still ongoing. Cloud computing, IoT and data analytics areimportant applications of digital transformation. These changes and transformations can affect various aspects, especially human resources. Newproduction and management models are the first considerations to be affected. Digital transformation can bring both opportunities and threats. In particular,fears that unemployment will increase as a result of technological progress, that many viable occupations and skills will disappear, and that new occupations will emerge are causing unrest among workers and causing anxiety. It is believed that these fears and worries can affect the success, performance andmotivation of employees. Purpose of the study;determine the relationship between digital transformation and employee motivation, perception of digital technologies depending on the demographic characteristics of respondents and determine the level of motivation, provide data on the subject to researchers. present solutions, develop solutions in light of the data obtained, and contribute to the literature. Dedaş operates in the province of Şırnak. Prepared for the employees of the company. The questionnaire technique was used in data collection. The obtained data were analyzed using a SPSS 23.0 package program. As a result of the research; those working with digital transformation perception of participants between graduation status and motivation level.and there is a significant relationship between graduation status and perception of digital transformation.a significant relationship was found.
