Approach of the nurses of the dialiysis unit towards organ and tissue donation and transplantation (Adana example)

Treatment is only possible for diseases and transplantation, organ/tissue transplantation and donation, is important. 0rgan/tissue donation and transplantation, according to the country's level of development varies. Individuals, because they do not have enough information about transplantation, donors reluctant to act. 0rgan/tissue transplants and about donation, to provide sufficient efficiency, in order to restore the health of patients waiting for treatment, it is necessary to necessary information. The dialysis unit nurses, organ/tissue transplantation and about donation, it is important knowledge. Dialysis nurse, about donation and transplantation, have sufficient knowledge, it will speed up the process. Among patients waiting for transplants with donors, it will ensure easier communication. Patients and their relatives, their morale will rise. This work; Adana province and district, working in dialysis units, dialysis certified nurses, organ/tissue transplantation and donation on, expectations, thoughts and approaches were made in order to measure the level of knowledge. Research data working in a dialysis unit nurses and organ tissue transplant service, certified dialysis was obtained through a survey administered to nurses. Universe of research; Adana and CHB districts (The Association of Public Hospitals) depending on what 5 dialysis centers, dialysis center and two university hospitals, including 6 in a total of 13 dialysis centers in private dialysis center are 130 nurses.
