Abstract (EN)

Anatolia is of great importance since it is one of the land where the historical foundation stones of Christianity were laid. The religion of Christianity has a history of 19 centuries in Anatolia. One of these lands is the city of Diyarbakir. Diyarbakır city, M.S. ıt has been acquainted with the religion of Christianity since the 1st century. The religion of Christianity was first spread in Diyarbakir city by non-systematic and non-institutional missionary activities. The number of people who belong to the religion of Islam increased in Diyarbakir after Islam became the dominant state and principalities since 639. Christians have continued their missionary work to increase the number of all the members in Diyarbakir in Turkey as it is. In the city, Catholic and Protestant missionaries, especially the Christian denominations, continued their activities. In recent times, Korean missionaries have continued to increase missionary work in the city. In this study, missionary activities in Diyarbakır were evaluated in the context of historical processes.This assessment was based mainly on the work of the Protestant mission, which increased in the last days of the city.
