Aim of this investigation is establishing what are the characteristic peculiarities of west Black Sea Region's folk dance, investigation had been maden at Artvin, Rize, Trabzon, Giresun and Ordu. When the investigation had been made, basic concepts of characteristic peculiarities had been tried to explain, then giving samples from sburb playings to this basics had been tried. With examine the buildings of dance which are playing in sburbs, the playings which establish in sburb are; Horon, Halay, Bar, Karşılama and Seyirlik. In addition, the species of dance at this sburb execute "girls alone", "boys alone" and "girls and boys together" had been seen. At West Black Sea Region dances are in horon type generally. Horons had been spreaded to sburb widely and had been come to our day. Horons are still making with veyr wide folk heap without demolishing it's otantic in our day at weddings, festivals, births, when the boys send to army, high plateau gaieties. Horon lives an atmosphere of the people which have necessity to be very nimble and agile for protect its being at sea and unevenness fields. In this respect horon is very active dance. Horon makers bodies are in move with all of their arms, hands or put their hands to their shoulders in a circle or straight line form with a musical instrument which proves orderely moving. If there is no musical insrument, the folk songs which horon makers say like chorus do this work.Many times girls and boys make horon seperately. The plays which are the girls make called "Kız Oyunu" oftenly. At girls horons the mouth-organ can play like bagpipe and kemence. It is able to see the girls making horon without insrument. At these times they say folk songs. Horon disconnect different kins like "Sıksaray, Sallama" according to ritm moving peculiarities. At folk dance the impressions which arise from tenderness, joyfulness, being enchanted, ecstasy, fear, anxiety, doubt, anger, sadness in result of to be like or not the folk dance, create sensations.
