The easterner two wri̇ters' comparati̇ve: Sâdik Hi̇dâyet and Cemi̇l Meri̇ç

Cemil Meriç and Sâdık Hidâyet are the writers who is values understand took time. The westernization process of Turkey and İran is almost the same period to coincide raises the question of how the two authors were affected by this difficult process. The answer to this question was given through the works Bu Ülke by Cemil Meriç and Kör Baykuş by Sâdık Hidâyet . During this study, not only the literary aspects of the authors , but also the social and social perspectives were discussed. While social changes were observed more in Hidâyet's works, analyzes were come to the forefront in Cemil Meriç's. Probably, this was influenced by the trials of Cemil Meriç and narratives such as novels,stories and letters in Sâdık Hidâyet. Thesis aims at a comparative owerview of the procers of westernization of Turkey and İran via authors. Key Words: Westernization, Bu Ülke, Kör Baykuş, Cemil Meriç, Sâdık Hidâyet.
