Abstract (EN)
The mode of delivery is important in the continuation of the pregnancy and the termination of the pregnancy without any problems. Women's bad experiences about childbirth affect their perception at birth and cause them to understand birth and having a baby as a negative, uncomfortable and dissatisfied process. The aim of the study is to determine the effect of women's delivery method on maternal satisfaction and postpartum postpartum comfort. The descriptive study was conducted between January 2022 and February 2022 in Mardin Training and Research Hospital delivery room and obstetrics service. The sample of the study consists of 202 women who had normal vaginal delivery and cesarean section. In the collection of data in the research; Mother Identification Form, "Mother's Satisfaction Evaluation Scale at Birth" and "Postpartum Comfort Scale" were used. Study data were analyzed with SPSS22 package program. Chisquare test, Z test, Shapiro-Wilk test, Student's t test, ANOVA test, Bonferroni, Pearson correlation test were used in the evaluation. Statistical significance level was taken as p<0.05. It was determined that the satisfaction and postpartum comfort of those who gave normal birth were higher than those who had cesarean section. It has been determined that there is a statistically significant, linear, positive and low level relationship between birth satisfaction and comfort levels of mothers who gave birth normally. It has been determined that the mode of delivery affects postpartum satisfaction and comfort.
