Abstract (EN)
In this thesis study, the samples were taken from Antalya (Alanya) and Mersin (Kızılbağ, Çanakçı) region to determine calcination characteristics of dolomites and examined the tests. Firstly, the chemical, petrographical, mineralogical and physico-mechanical properties of the dolomite samples were determined. Secondly, calcinations tests were examined. These tests were carried out to determine different size, time and temperature conditions of dolomites. At the end of the tests, it was understood that examined dolomite samples could be used for building material, lime, glass and refractory material production.
