Abstract (EN)
One of the most important causes of losses in cultivated plants has been fungal disease agents. One of the most important of these factors is Alternaria solani (Ell. and G. Martin) Sor, which causes significant yield losses in tomato plants. In order to reduce losses caused by A. solani, cultural control and chemical control methods are applied. The most widely used method among these is chemical control. However, the intensive use of chemicals causes chemical residues in the products, development of resistance in the pathogen and harms in terms of human health. Consumers' demand for food that does not contain chemical residues has made it necessary to introduce new plant protection approaches that can be an alternative to synthetic fungicides used in the treatment of A solani disease. In this study; İn vitro fungistatic activity of whey powder (PAST) and clove oil against A. solani factor was tried to be determined. For this purpose, 1 ml and 1.5 ml doses of the prepared nanoemulsion (PAST: Clove Oil), 1:0,5, 1:1 and 1:1,5 concentrations, 1 ml of the suspensions prepared in 1 g and 2 g amounts of PAST, 1,5 ml. The effects of 1 ml, 1,5 ml and 2 ml doses of 0,5%, 1% and 1,5% emulsions prepared with clove oil were investigated. As a result of laboratory studies, 1,5 ml doses used in 1:1 concentration of nanoemulsion, 1 ml and 1,5 ml doses used in 1:1,5 concentration, and 2 ml doses used in 1 and 1,5% emulsion of clove oil were found to be effective against fungi, micellar completely hindered its development. 1 ml dose of 1:1 concentration of nanoemulsion inhibited mycelial growth of the fungus by 94%. It was determined that other doses used did not prevent or partially prevent mycelial growth. The findings obtained as a result of the studies show that the doses with determined fungistatic effects can be an alternative to synthetic fungicides against early blight disease.
