Abstract (EN)
The aim of this study is to determine the consumer?s behaviour on functionality features of upholstering fabric modified by advanced treatment technology, and also to gather a source on the subject and to set consumer?s level of awareness about these features.The survey model is applied in the study. As the scope of the study, Kayseri that are trading upholstering fabrics that have functionality feature for their advanced treatment technology in 2009-2010 are determined. Surveys are applied on the sample group of 150, selected randomly from the customers of these firms.The surveys are statistically analyzed and the results are prepared as tables with interpretations. Data shows that costumers are relatively informed about the advanced treatment technology applications on upholstering fabrics, especially the women are careful about this issue and they mention the mostly preferred feature as dirt-repellency.
