قُرَّةُ الأنظارِ على شرحِ تنوير الأبصار لأبي الطَّيب السِّندي من بداية كتاب الصلاة إلى باب إدراك الفريضة (دراسةً وتحقيقًا)

This thesis deals with the investigation of the book of Abu al-Tayyib al-Sindi (d. 1145 AH) called "Qurratu Al-Anzar Ala Sharhtanweer Al-Absar" which is a comprehensive book that collected the chapters of Hanafi jurisprudence. This study was concerned with the book of prayer to the chapter on the performance of the obligatory prayer. The manuscript is distinguished by its great scientific value, as it contains many sayings by the Hanafi jurists, and many sources that are considered among the most important books of the Hanafi jurisprudence, some of which are rare and even lost which gives special importance to this valuable explanation. The study followed the historical descriptive approach when translating the author and his personal and scientific biography, and the method of investigation and commentary on the investigated text. The most important findings of this study are: Imam al-Sindi is one of the scholars whose biographies have not been adequately translated, but his scholarly personality, his well-known reputation, and his mastery in jurisprudence and other sciences are not hidden, and this appears when tracing his approach and method in the works he left. His book contained rich scientific material in the fields of jurisprudence, hadith, language, etc., which demonstrated the author's breadth of erudition and abundance of knowledge, especially in the branches of Hanafi jurisprudence. He would return every issue to its author, present it, and he would agree with it, or prefer others, using evidence from the Qur'an and Sunnah on many issues, for example, it is preferable because a woman's voice is not forbidden. He was not limited in his book to the Hanafi school of thought, but rather his knowledge of other schools of thought such as the Shafi'i school of thought and the Hanbali school of thought appeared, making his book a reference for jurisprudential choices and important preferences in the chapters of prayer, upon which everyone who came after him relied. He also included many linguistic references and grammatical benefits in his book, more than relying on dictionaries and books with strange words. It is clear that Al-Sindi was very knowledgeable about the hadith. In his book, he relied on the authentic ones, and mentioned the weak ones in a few places. Keywords: (fiqh) Jurisprudence.
