Abstract (EN)

In this study, MnS thin films were prepared using 0.2 M EDTA for 5-10-15 hours on glass substrate at 40 oC using Chemical Bath Deposited Method (CBD). Structural, optical and electrical properties of the films were investigated. The characterization of the films were performed using X-ray diffraction (XRD), field effect scanning electron microscopy (FESEM), X-ray analysis (EDX), UV-vis spectrophotometer and Hall measurement systems. XRD analyzes showed that the films grew in a polycrystalline structure in the hexagonal phase. It was seen from the EDX analyzes that the films were formed stoichiometrically. The optical constants such as extinction coefficient (k), refractive index (n), real (ε1) and imaginary (ε2) parts of the dielectric constant and forbidden energy gaps (Eg) of the film were investigated depending on the immersion times. It was seen that the films were n-type and their resistivity was measured in the range of 4.65-13.4x105 (Ω cm) depending on the immersion time.
