Abstract (EN)
In this study, it is aimed to determine whether the individual cultural values of the managers working in Antalya province have an effect on innovative business behavior and the extent of this effect. For this purpose, the concepts of culture, individual cultural values, innovation, innovative business behavior were investigated. The concept of culture, which has been the subject of many studies in the past and today, has been discussed within the framework of Hofstede's cultural dimensions. The research universe consists of managers working in Antalya city center.A simple sampling method was used to determine the number of samples, and the sample size is 180 managers. The research also used the innovative business behavior scale consisting of 9 expressions adapted to Turkish by Töre (2017) and the individual cultural values scale consisting of 26 expressions adapted to Turkish by Saylik (2019) as a data collection tool. Reliability and validity analysis, factor analysis, correlation and regression analysis were performed with the data obtained. As a result of the analysis, the perceptions of the participant group consisting of managers regarding power distance and masculinity size are below moderate, while collectivism, long moltenness and uncertainty avoidance are high. It has been found that the power distance from the dimensions of culture affects all dimensions of innovative business behavior, while the dimension of collectivism affects only the dimension of idea generation. In addition, it has been found that the dimensions of masculinity, long meltdown and uncertainty avoidance do not affect any dimension of innovative business behavior.
