Identification of species related to Syrphidae family in Eğil district (Diyarbakir)

Abstract (EN)
In this study conducted in the district of Eğil (Diyarbakır) in 2017-2018, Syrphidae (Diptera) species were evaluated. 10 species were determined totally. 6 of them were found to be belonged to the subfailies Syrphinae, 3 of them were found to be belonged to the Milesiinae subfamilies and 1 of them were found to belonged to the Eristalinae subfamilies. Among the species observed; Sphaerophoria rueppelli (Wiedemann, 1830), Episyrphus balteatus (De Geer, 1776), Metasyrphus corollae (Fabricius, 1794), Eristalis arbustorum (Linnaeus, 1758), Sphaerophoria scripta (Linnaeus, 1758), Eristalis pratorum (Meigen, 1822), Syritta pipiens (Linnaeus, 1758) species are the first records for Eğil district. Metasyrphus corollae (Farbricius, 1794), Episyrphus balteus (De Geer, 1776) are abundatand wide spread species in Eğil district.
